When stressed, OSB panels tend to fail along the edges at nail attachments. This is particularly true if the OSB has gotten wet. This technology presents a moisture impermeable edge reinforced wood composite. The reinforced edge improves fastener performance and reduces panel edge swell as a result of moisture exposure.
